Reviews of this Book
Silencing the voices is a graphic and intimate tale of one woman’s battle to reconcile the personalities that a horrificially abusive childhood created. This book was a powerful read and cleared away many of my misconceptions about the disorder. Although I do not have MPD, Mrs. Darby’s account has forced me to evaluate my life and the relationships I have with others. It has made me consider the possibility of repressed memories and appreciate the beauty and perfection of the human mind.
