This book was read at exactly the right time in my life. I picked it up by chance when grabbing a bunch of books on dissociation. Because of it I feel no shame about DID and look forward to a brighter future than I could have imagined before I began treatment. I am alive in part due to this book. I have understanding from my friends in part due to this book.

Both my wife (who has MPD) and I find this book to be quite informative. There is some psychoeese in it, but my SO is able to relate to it and found that things suddenly clicked. I find it very helpful in trying to understand what she is going through and am on my third read.
