Reviews of this Book
To me, this was a very interesting book. It is incredible how creatively the mind can function when it comes to dealing with otherwise unimaginable abuse at the hands of those we should trust. Adults should realize how they can alter or destroy the mind of a child for so many years by their countless, thoughtless acts of severe cruelty. The person affected with DID as a result of these abuses suffers untold amounts of pain. Jean was brave to seek help.
Another book I would highly recommend is Cameron West, Ph.D.’s "First Person Plural".
